is there anyone selling a vgc set of alloys for townace
with,without tyres 14" thanks stacy - (#112) stacy, 6 May 01

I have a 1990 townace royal lounge and have been told that they all have alloy wheels as standard.
Is this true or as i suspect an optional upgrade in japan.
Also where is the best place to get a set of alloys for my 2 wheel drive.
Used or new.
Thanks for any help Phil Cook - (#1854) Phil Cook, 8 Jan 02

The Royal Lounge is considered to be a "top of range" model and as a result I would expect alloys to come as standard. Certainly all the ones I have seen are but then that may only be for the 4WD version. To get one to match the originals you're going to be looking at a specialist breakers which have been listed on this site before. To get a full set, I'd shop around for a nice set of reasonably priced non-Toyota ones.
