Do all the parts of this form need filling in ? I have just had an imported (actually bought from an auction in Southampton) Townace SVA'd but have nothing which gives me emission levels etc (the SVA put down "N/A"). Also I haven't a clue as to length (I could measure but how accurate does it have to be ?)and weight. My Townace is a 1993 2.2 (2184 cc) litre auto diesel with 4WD. Would it be possible to get photo-copies of the import documents? They are mainly in Japanese but there are some obvious details on there such as chassis, engine numbers, date of manufacture etc. Otherwise you can only enter details onto the form that you have at your disposal ie. from the VIN plate under the carpet in front of the driver's seat, the chassis number stamped on the frame behind the o/s front wheel and the engine number which I think is to the rear of the engine block n/s (assuming that they are in the same place as the 87-91 models). If you do not have the information then you cannot give it, It's surprising how many n/a 's you can get away with on DVLA forms.
