Dave
You're obviously new to this game aren't you? The reason Mark set this site up was to try and generate enough interest to get his Russian technical manual translated. The only other manual you will be able to get hold of is the translation of the owner's manual for about £22 from a New Zealand outfit called JapaTrans. There are a couple of distributors in the UK, one being Eurospec2000. I've got one and to be honest I don't think it's worth the money. You're better off picking up info from this site. It's surprising how popular these vehicles have become over the past couple of years. When I first got interested in them about 2 years ago, they were very rare indeed, now I find it unusual to not see at least one every day. I also have people stopping me and asking questions about them. I'm sure you will find a garage "expert with Townaces" in your area before long. Ask around.

Dave, When I first started looking for townaces about 6 mths ago I found a place which I think is called P & D Cars on Broomhill Rd, Brislington. The Mc Donalds end. He had quite a few townaces and previa`s. While looking around I noticed a few townaces with engines half stripped so my guess is he does repairs aswell, sorry but I don`t have the number but it might be worth going and asking

thanks barry,i did'nt know he did repairs,i'd better not go to him though,i bought my townie off a woman who was going to sell it to him, when he found out i bought it ,he was not to helpfull when i asked him a few question about townies.then he started to slag off my car, saying it was'nt worth the £4500 i paid for it.mine is much better than all the ones he had, mines a lite ace,2.2 td,4wd,Mreg,the newest one he had was a L,and he wanted £5500 for it.sour grapes ithink. - (#330) dave, 20 Jun 01
