(Home) Spacecruiser manual (Spa)

I have a 1984 (B) reg spacecruiser, i am in the same predicament as a lot of spacecruiser owners ie where are all the manuals?. I have contacted various garages with no joy whatsoever. I have been told by different people that the spacecruiser is based on the hi ace, if this is correct does anybody know how loosely based it is. I have been having various problems getting spare parts for my 2 litre spacecruiser, does anyone know the address of a good spare parts supplier either on line or via mail order. - (#345) chris, 23 Jun 01

The Chilton's manual available at amazon.co.uk for the US model Van should cover yours fairly well.(assuming yours is EFI, rather than carb...)
Townies and Space's are all based on the liteace.

This was raised in an earlier post. I bought the Toyota workshop manuals, 11 years ago from a Toyota dealer for about £30. I don't know if you can still get them, worth asking. Haynes certainly do not do one and Chilton's will only cover the US market models. There is very little commonality between the Model F and the HIACE so don't bother with that manual. Most common spares should be available from the larger motor factors, otherwise dealers should still carry stock. 1984 isn't that old.
