when i put my lite ace in to drive or reverse,the car begins to start vibrate,until i put my foot down to move,then its fine,till i come to a stop again.in park it feels ok.any one have any tips on what it could be,as iv'e said before i'm new to auto's and town aces etc.i notice on the board there seems to be a lot of problems with over heating,is this a common fault with lite aces as well as townies,if so are there any things to watch out for as i'm soon going on holiday and getting a bit concerned.my lite ace is a 2.2 turbo diesel,4wd field tourer,M reg.any advice on both subjects we be most welcome. dave. - (#388) dave, 30 Jun 01

Tickover speed a bit low? should be 800rpm or so, dropping to maybe 650 in gear...
Re overheating problems, when checking the coolant, check that the filler neck (where the cap is) is full with the engine cold, as well as checking the expansion bottle.
