I am in need of replacing the brake pads and shoes on my 1990 2.0TD 4WD townie but am not getting very far with my local motor factors on finding the right brake linings.
Can anybody help me out with any cross-refs or part numbers that will help me in finding the right parts?

Front pads are easy, try
Lockheed LP739, Brakeworld BW375
Rear shoes are Toyota 04495 28061 or equivalent.
