(Home) Rear axle 'tie rods' - name of please

Does anyone know the name of the 'tie rods' that sit above the rear axle on 4x4 Townace and restrain the transverse rotation of the diff/axle under load and braking? I get a soft 'clonk' between braking and pulling away in Fwd gear which I think is down to these bushes being worn. I have checked the diff nut as suggested in previous contribution (thanks Dave Miller) but seems ok.
'BBC spares' stock replacement parts that Toyota list as 'drag link bushes' and also 'shock absorber bushes' but with no microfiche or manual(!)i am reluctant to place a 'blind' order.

i can't remember what they are called - is it the 6" rod with a rubber bush at each end at 90 degress to each other?
if so I replaced mine 1.5 years ago and none had been ordered in this country at that time, but my local Toyota dealer found some in Germany, and they came in 2 days - (#717) skippy, 31 Jul 01

That would be the upper control bar, then. Common to 2x4 and4x4, AFAIK
Check also the outer anti roll bar bushes. - (#718) David Miller, 31 Jul 01

I thought that I'd posted this earlier, but it didn't come up. They're the "upper control bars".
Check the outer anti-roll bar bushes, too.
