I see some Townaces adverised with a "Turbo Timer". Is this an electronic device to inhibit starting, ie, to allow the turbo to cool sufficiently after a fairly long operation and, is it fitted as standard on some models ? A Timer will allow the engine to idle for a period after you leave and lock the vehicle. The turbo on a diesel doesn't get hot enough to really require cooldown of more than a minute anyway, and the CT turbo in townies is water cooled also. Best to just idle for a minute or so.
