Does the Townace have any special battery requirements. Mine is just about dead and I think I need to replace it. Is it a standard 12V one and so I could get any one that would fit in the space?

I popped in to the local Toyota garage. They didn't have the Townace on their systems to look up, but they did look up the code on the battery that I had already had and came out with this Toyota battery number
T28800-YZZAH. I think the battery was 70Ah, but I've gone and fitted it now! It was 43.68 +VAT = £51.32. They didn't have any other the same size physically (it is large and heavy!), so hopefully it will be OK.
