Can anybody tell me the rough guide price on changing a rear oil seal on the engine of a 4wd townace. A friend of mine is considering selling his vehicle for £2500 because of the quotes he has been given, it's a K reg but that's all I know about it. A garage has offered him a measly £1000 part exchange on a Nissan Serena.

Gearbox out, flywheel off, then either lever out old seal and replace, or remove sump, remove oil seal holder, replace oil seal, rebuild.
