Can any of you good people tell me how/where to access and adjust the various belts on my 2C-T Townie, particularly the alternator one as I've looked (and looked!) but it's not obvious, even with my new glasses on and it's starting to squeal!! Thanks in advance! - (#1101) Frank Newall, 19 Sep 01

Alternator belt has a screw adjuster UNDER the alt. You need to remove the floor assy to get at it.
P/S belt is adjusted by slackening the mountings in time-honoured fashion
Aircon belt has an idler pulley at the bottom of the run- slacken the nut in the middle, then there's a tensioning bolt underneath, at the front of the sump. - (#1102) David Miller, 19 Sep 01
