I have a lite-ace, turbo diesal 2 litre. Recently I noticed a slight tapping noise coming from engine. On a recent journey tapping turned into a banging ,red oil warning light came on and orange oilcan also. Being the owner of the site, you may have read the home page scenario I have had recently with my vehicle.
My problems began with a tapping noise coming from the engine and turned into a nightmare. Many garages will want to remove your engine in order to strip it down to find the fault, £300, don't let them order parts until they've spoken to you about it. My problem ended up being the Turbo that had packed in causing a bent conrod which damaged the internals pretty bad.
