I can't find the battery on my 1989 manual Townie. Tried the car today for the first time in a couple of days and was surprised to find the central locking didn't work. Then no lights came on at the dashboard - fuses seem okay. Anyone help? - (#1293) Jim Shepherd, 27 Oct 01

Depending on model, it'll be either under the floor on the right hand side in front of the middle row of seats, or under a cover behind the driver's seat (sort of recessed into the bulkhead.)
