Anyone know the appropriate steps in removing the water pump - (#1342) Doug Parr, 2 Nov 01
1. Drain coolant
2. Remove drive belt
3. Remove radiator
4. (with viscous coupling) remove 4 nuts holding v. coupling to pulley seat and remove the fan and coupling assembly and the pump pulley.
5. (without coupling) remove 4 nuts holding driveshaft to pulley seat, remove fan and drive shaft assembly and pump pulley
6. Remove bolt and disconnect drive belt adjusting bar from water pump.
7. Remove nut, 4 bolts, water pump and gasket - (#1343) Ian Dunse, 2 Nov 01

Bound to be tight. A gentle tap all round with plastic headed mallet or similar should free it. - (#1351) Ian Dunse, 3 Nov 01
