(Home) Turbo warning light

i have a '92 (k) 2.0td townace, but rather than the twin lights mentioned in other questions,
i have the word turbo in green in with the other warning lights. since i bought the vehicle in
february it has come on at start up (self test) and then at aboutr 1800 revs, however, it has now
stopped coming on at any rev range. (still lights on starting so the bulbs not blown).
i also have a side on view of the turbo as one of the wrning lights. this is ok (not on).
i've checked the owners manual from the import bookshop and have no reference to it.
anyone know what this light failing to come on indicates please.??? - (#1403) David Lawrence, 9 Nov 01

Is the engine performing OK? More than likely, it's the little hose that connects the inlet manifold to the two sensors has blocked or come off. The two sensors should be at the front of the airfilter housing, one wire, one hose each. - (#1409) David Miller, 10 Nov 01

thanks for the info, sorry for the delay in getting back, only just back on my email. i'll check that out
incidentally yes the engine does seem to be running all ok. - (#1414) David Lawrence, 13 Nov 01

just a quick follow up, yes it was this, pipe had become detatched under neath the main feed from the air filter. all now ok - (#1475) david lawrence, 23 Nov 01
