successfully converted manual spacecruisier to auto, due to wifes disabality, but can not figure out wiring for overdrive, have got 3 plugs coming from gearbox, one with 2 large black wires+small red one{poss inhibitor switch?} one single wire tried suppling that with live feed ,but nothing, also 2 other wires one black .one white/red. now tottaly confused,need help,prefebally a wiring diagram, - (#1423) terry young, 14 Nov 01

two big wires are inhibit. There should be a pair of small wires also coming from the inhibitor switch- feed and return for the reversing lights.
The overdrive solenoid is inside the 'box- follow one of the cables into the box through a grommet (poss. black wire).
Is it 4x4? they have a temp sensor on one of the cooler pipes, and a sensor for 4x4 in the transferbox. Also the speedo is electronic on some versions. - (#1424) David Miller, 15 Nov 01
