(Home) Heater fan

On my townace 1990 2lt td auto royal lounge when i turn the fan blower lever to low i had a ticking sound under and near the slider levers. I had just fitted my radio/cd in the dash and thought i may have moved something. After taking dash of radio out again and lever assembly clear i found a small fan type unit (just below with small grill vent in dash) which started when i switched the blower lever on. After a squirt of silicon spray it stopped ticking noise.
Can anyone tell me what that small fan unit is and what it's for. Thanks Phil Cook - (#1677) Phil Cook, 21 Dec 01

That's the thermal sensor for the auto climate control thingy that the Royal Lounge has. - (#1679) David miller, 22 Dec 01

Fantastic site I must say.
I have a 92 Townace 2.0TD. The heater was working fine until Sunday evening all of a sudden there is nothing coming out of the vents any ideas.

There is a circuit breaker beside the fusebox, you can reset it by sticking something in the hole on top.
