It might be of interest to other Town/Masterace owners in the Midlands, I have had to patch the rear section of my Masterace exhaust as a temporary measure and have investigated replacement of the system. There are wildly differing prices and opinions on availability and, the genuine (steel) Toyota system, through the local dealer, is an alarming figure. But, the Powerflow agent has quoted me £220 plus VAT for the complete system,(not including the downpipe & flex joint which are sound on my vehicle)in stainless steel. Also the lifetime guarantee is for the life of the vehicle and IIRC can be transferred with ownership. Requires a free annual chack at the fitting garage to maintain guarantee.

Had to change my rear exhaust just after purchase. WKB Toyota Main Dealer in waterlooville got a stainless steel complete rear section for £220:00 and now i need to change the front section at a cost of approx £66:00.

Hello,

I contacted a powerflow agent in Redhill, Surrey and got a quote for the complete system in stainless steel for £327.19 with the guarantee. I'm having it fitted on Wednesday. I contacted them regarding the guarantee and was told it is guaranteed against failure for the length of time I own the vehicle.

My local Kwik-Fit wanted to charge me £500 for the basic mild steel exhaust, although I know they are not the cheapest people around.

i can not belive the cost of exahust`s for our vech`s
is it because as soon as you mention toyota the figures start spinning .....i mssed out on a complete toyota spacecruiser the other day at the cost of £100...this would have been a star buy and it goes to show that there is vech`s out there rusting away ready for the scrapman....

Which Kwik Fit are you referring to ? My local Kwik-Fit In Sheerness quoted me £500 and they didn't mention a guarantee at all.

But I would say at £327 for a stainless steel system with a lifetime guarantee against failure a bargain and this included fitting as well.
