(Home) Wiring diagram

Looking through the list of faults we all get , I reckon we somehow manage to overcome all but the most ugly of problems , I have my moments of glory (luck) but i'm no Einstien and it seems to me the one thing we do need is a wiring diagram or should I say several as we have qiute a few models . The funny thing is that the wiring symbols are usually few in number and the colours cant be more than a couple of dozen , which out of all the things would be a very cost effective translation .
any thoughts ? - (#1911) J ADGO, 20 Jan 02

I have lost touch (my own fault, of course, and no-one else's) with the plans to translate the Russian manual into English. I did put my name forward, somewhere, to the effect that I should be more than pleased to be one of that number (about 50 so far, I believe) who would pay an equal share of the translation/printing costs.
Did I read somewhere that the wiring and circuitry would be the first "chapter" to be translated ? Could anyone bring us up to date on these plans or, are they being handled "off" this list ? Thanks for any comments - (#1912) John Davis, 20 Jan 02

Hello John,
Due to the lack of information given to you all by me, I have updated the home page of the site to remedy this situation. - (#1914) Mark, 20 Jan 02

Thanks Mark , maybe now the great god barclaycard is getting paid of a bit post Xmas we will get the extra 20 takers we need for the one thing were all missing ..namely a decent manual .. for what its worth I still reckon this site will beat any manual . Thirty qiud is not a lot to pay for the book though compared to what you can pay if you lack information

please has anyone got a wiring diagram that they can email me? First thought it was alternator. Bought a new one, then new battery went flat and discovered that on a amp meter it is still pulling off 1.5 amps.
Everything is switched off, and with a fully charged battery in the car, you can garantee that it will be totally flat next day. So if anyone has had a similar problem or has a diagram, could you please e mail me i would be very grateful. Its a toyota space cruiser.
'a' reg its a f model. 1.8litre. Thankyou!

Hello Kevin,

Without a wiring diagram, you could try putting your ammeter on your battery and pull the fuses of circuits you know would be live such as interior lights, clock, radio, alarm etc until the load clears. If you are unsure of live circuits then just check at the fuse box with a voltmeter with everything supposedly off.

It could be your car alarm system or somethink is not
insulated.
