(Home) Choice of headgasket

I have found alot of useful info on this site, thank you all for taking the time to share.
I bought a Liteace and it turned out that I am changing the headgasket!!!
I am in Winchester and found several sources for the head gasket, from 30 to over 100 pounds, Camberley was the best price and Toyota the most exspensive. The question is does anyone know the quality of the gaskets? Toyota said that the gasket they have is the only one now available by them and that the "head gasket set" did not come with the head gasket. This would be a total cost of around 150 or more.
Is the Camberley head gasket good? Given that some members had mentioned head gaskets failing.

Your dealer is ripping you off!! An official Toyota gasket should be under £40...
And Aftermarket gaskets are fine, too... - (#1921) david miller, 21 Jan 02
