(Home) Crankshaft pulley removal

Hi, I am in the midst of changing my headgasket on a Liteace 2.td. Here is how I removed the crankshaft pulley.
Took off the outer pulley, removing the 4x bolts, they came off easy with the outer pulley. Then removed the large bolt holding the crankshaft pulley. I got 2, 8mm x 70mm bolts from B&Q and used the outer pulley as the extractor by placing a socket about 15mm in size in the centre. Then placed a spanner across the socket and proceeded to tighten up the 2 bolts on the outer pulley, jamming the spanner underneath. This I did alternativly from one bolt to the next and then back until the pulley came out from the crankshaft. I had to add something on top of the socket to make it deeper half way through the process.
The main point is using the outer pulley and 2, 8mm x 70mm bolts, (37p each) the rest you can see what ever you have around to press out the crankshaft pulley. It came out smoothly.
