Your reply about getting rad recored may be help for me. My townace cr21 2lt td has just gone in for rad leak need new one. The garage is going to claim on the 3 month warranty that the dealer gave through a company. Also they found that the rear shock absorber rubbers are badly worn. It makes me annoyed as i have only had it for about 10 weeks.
It had a pre delivery inspection and only just gone through an mot. Also oil pipe to the turbo unit is leaking. Mileage is 50.000 now. I will see what happens on monday.

i've just had a new exhaust made by a local exhaust specialist. cost 300 quid for a stainless system not including the front pipe complete with life time guarantee. So my advice try a local exhaust specialist. - (#2172) steve duce, 9 Feb 02

Steve could you leave the name and number of the place where you had your exhaust made as my local dealer wants £280 just for the back pipe.
