(Home) Wheels

Our townace came with the 'wrong' sparewheel , ie it does fit but not perfectly. I'm told I'd need a 4 stud 15" rim with 4" offset P.C.D. I read in a previous message that Daihatsu and Suzuki might fit for a liteace. Any suggestion for a not too expensive wheel for my townace?

Your 4- stud wheel might be similar to a camry, cresside or carina. Are you sure it's 15"? - (#2340) david miller, 25 Feb 02

I have a lite-ace, g reg, on 13" wheels, looking to re shoe onto 14"s, Any one got any info on this, I feel sure this will be poss. with adjustment of the tyre profile, so the speedo is not a prob, but I'm looing for a set of steel wheels for the bus. Any one got a set?

Is it a four stud or five stud?????( 4x4)

Check out other Jap 4x4's for 5 stud wheels you may find alloy ones the same price as steel !!
I got a set of 4 alloys with 2 good tyres & wheel nuts for only £80. from a scrap yard

Mine's a 4-stud, funnily enough been out with the transporter and collected a b-reg celica for scrapping today, got 14" alloys, on a 4-stud, with 185x14s, got to do some checking this weekend to see what the score is.

Might be lucky, if they are ok, they will cost nothing, the guy just want to make sure the car goes to the crushers.

Toyota put the Celica alloys on the Spacecruiser, which happen to be the same as my Townace ones, when they re-vamped the cars around 1987. Should fit ok.

The same mags went onto the Celica, Corona, and Tarago (Spacecruiser) here in Aus - shouldn't be a problem!.

Well tried the wheels this weekend, & no prob, clearence ok, no rubbing even on full lock.
makes the van sit higher, got to re tyre the lot though, all not worth fitting.
will need to use a lower profile tyre to compensate for the bigger wheel. they are on 185/70s at the moment, have to get the book out tomorrow & re-asses thinking around 60s should do it.
