Hi,
a friend just asked me about an "ERG unit" which somehow is supposed to "suck in excess fuel and recycle it". It is somewhere between the turbo and the inlet manifold and is part of the emissions control.
Can anyone explain how this is supposed to work? He says his engine is smoking heavily when cold.
