(Home) Interior light

The front door light keeps flickering occasionally whilst I am driving.

Both the front doors are securely locked etc and I have checked for the obvious - like neither my wife nor myself has fallen out the door etc.

Is the light connected to anything else??

yeh whats happening here is the wire that goes to the switch in the door stansion has either become loose or frade..which in turn is rubbing against the body of your motor ....these light work by contacting earth of your body so when u open the door the switch opens and makes contact with the body of the car......unscrew the switch and have a look at the wire conected to it ....

The rubber covers also wear flat, so the switch may not 'open' properly. I had to glue a small piece of rubber on the face of the existing rubber boot to cure this problem.

Hi all, can anyone tell me where I can get a fluorescent tube for my townace. A mate paid £90 for his which is madness.

Eddie. This has been raised before and yes, £90, sheer madness. Try a boatyard. Many canal boats have 12v lighting and have recessed roof lights, fitted with flourescent tubes.
