(Home) Electric curtain switch

Does anyone have a broken electric curtain switch assembly that I could buy. My 1990 ace has a hole where the switches should be!

I really can't imagine that any other Toyota would have a panel with the two switches in it like the one in the TOWN/MASTERACE, as I can't imagine any others have curtains or a place to put such a large panel/switch assembly. If you are trying to fill in a gap, why not try to get an 'oddments' tray of similar size from a car in a breakers & graft that into place, it will look better than a redundant switch assembly, and actually be useful to boot. Ray,
It might not be too difficult to make up an assembly with two rocker switches. Are the "feeder" plug/connectors still there to connect to ?
Failing that, the part number for this assembly is 84940-87003-03 for a grey one. If you require Sable colour, the part No is the same except the last two digits are 16. Your local Toyota Dealer could give you some information re availability but, cost might be a bit high.

Another thought. I see that Intapart have two Townaces in their current "breaking" list. They are at Daventry and do a postal service. Of course, the vehicles might not have curtain equipment but, worth a try.

Thankyou all for the information supplied. I have linked the wiring for testing and managed to launch the motors at breakneck speed down the tracks! I'll try the scrappers first and see what is available. I'm presently covered in muck and oil trying to replace the speedo cable. Thanks again
