HELP

Due to an electrical fault I desperatly need a ECU for my Town Ace Royal Lounge EFI 2litre 4x4.
Toyota number printed on the Ecu is 89661-28070 (3YEU)
The vehicle is currently of road due to this. Can any one supply me with one or know of where I can get one cheap.

It's a long shot, due to the fact that it is a Japanese import, but I suspect that that ECU is actually used on other cars such as Carina, or Corolla, so you could try a scrappers for these. Failing that, pop into your local factor or Lucas dealer, LUCAS offer a 48 hour repair service on ECUs so should be able to get yours back to their HQ @ Birmingham & repair it. Now sorted via my local Toyota Dealer at a cost of £418.00!!! Expensive I know but it was the only place that could supply me with a new ECU. I hope non of you other petrol powered Townies have the same fault as I had, however I am glad to get my Townie back on the road after 3 weeks imobilisation. I had to use the Wifes Cavalier while the Townie was laid up...?!
