A friend of mine has a j reg Townace and the orange turbo indicator symble is comming on under load at around 3500 rpm. does anyone know what the problem is and any remedies.

Green light, turbo working OK, orange light turbo overboosting, could be a faulty pressure sensor in the best case, or a damgaed/blown turbo or waste gate in the worst case scenario. Get it looked at sooner rather than later though, if it is overboosting then it could go bang & take the engine with it if your really unlucky.HTH Regards Rob.
