Will a Spacecruiser exhaust system fit a Town Ace 2 litre EFI?
Also can the catalyst be removed from the exhaust system without any harm being caused to the engine?

I don't think that the Spacey exhaust will fit a Townie anyway, perhaps Ian or David can answer that one for you. On the second point, what year is the car? If it is registered after 'K' reg then you will need to keep the cat, otherwise it will not pass the MOT, if it is before 'K' reg then you can remove the cat legally, but you will almost certainly cause running problems, this is due to the fact that you have a 'lambda' sensor in the exhaust just before the cat, this measure the gases from the cylinders before it gets to the cat & sends back signals to the ECU to adjust the mixture to ensure the fuelling is at it's most eco friendly & so as not to destroy the cat with too much unburnt fuel.

Depends on the engine type, and whether 4x4 or not, but I'd think that (eg) a pipe for a 3Y should also fit a 4Y
