Anyone know where i can get a 35watt 12volt yellow foglamp bulb for my townie?

You'll pay for it!! Just use ordinary 21w indicator bulbs...

You could have one of mine. I saved it as a museum piece. But honestly, it's not worth it. You can't buy them in the UK nor europe probably. You will have to bite the bullet eventually so put 21W bulbs in.

Marc,
If you want more useful power than a 21w indicator bulb, visit your local factor, ask them if they deal with guardian bulbs & get them to get you a 12v 55w SBC based bulb, I think it is part no 765, but check this with the factor, this will give you a 55w halogen bulb, just like a UK spec foglight bulb, but on the same bayonet base as your current yellow 35w bulb. HTH regards Rob.

A good glass paint from an Art supplier will enable you to paint it yellow!

Thanx everyone you have been most helpful and Rob I am just off to my local factor to make the enquiries.

Has anyone in the Bristol area managed to get hold of these halogen bulbs yet?
Local factors don't deal with Guardian. Do they have a web site?

Clive

Try a specialist that goes under the guise of a Lucas agent (electrical). They usually carry the catalogues and can order them. I was quoted just over 10 quid for a pair of those 55W halogens on a standard bayonet base. Not cheap.
