please can anyone tell me where to find the "well" for the lubricant,for power steering...lynn

i'm guessing it's in the same place as for the townie - at the side of the coolant expansion bottle. should be obvious, metal canister, screw top off. small dipstick showing levels for hot and cold. fill with dexron ii atf.

I can't honestly remember. Neither the handbook nor manual show its location. Has to be somewhere within easy access though. Somebody with a Spacecruiser please tell me and put me out of my misery (and help Lynn out as well of course).

hi its behind the driver seat,it has a black top with dip-stick with hot/cold on it how far up is the lubricant to be...lynn

remove the cap when the engine is cold and the vehicle is on level ground then wipe the dip-stick so it is dry and the screw the cap all the way on. Now unscrew it and look at the level. It should be slightly above the cold mark. Top up with ATF (automatic transmission fluid) if it is low. Hope this helps....
