i have some play in the front wheels on my towny it is 4wd is this normal it does drive ok its not to exessive there is no noise like wheelbearings usualy do but when i turn on full right lock it bangs realy loud but only on full lock.re above the play i mean if i hold the top of the wheel and shake it you can feel it a little slack like a knok ...any ideas ?????

The knock is caused by worn steering stops on the steering knuckle. Grease or replace...
The wheel bearings are taper roller and adjustable. Remove the locking hub for access to the locknut 52mm diameter, but not tight,
