(Home) Cruiser overheating again

For some time I have periodically lost water on my 2L petrol 'F' reg -usually not loads, I have replaced rad cap & thermostat.
Oil looks clean - no emulsion - however, water in header tank is always very orangey, and with rad cap off and running engine -loads of fine white foam - doesn't seem particularly oily to touch to me, but when engine switched off warm, this foam continues to be produced and flow out.
I now conclude Blown Head Gasket. Could it be anything else?
Brilliant site - wife swears by the s/c so a fix would be great!

I had a blown seal/gasket between the inlet and exhaust manifolds which resulted in messing up the autochoke. As these have to come off worth checking first. Orange = rust? When mine came of three studs broke got a mobile helicoil chap in, £80 some years ago, otherwise apart from no room all fairly easy, mark those vacuum tubes don't rely on the diagram if you have it. I'd photo it now before you start.
