Mark,
Well done, I've found a few sites in Russian or Japanese, now I have access to a translater which may also be of use. Will keep you posted if they are.
Guest book not working at the moment, displays 'The mistake' which I assume means Error.
Thanks
Clive

Absolutely fabulous, great to see we're not the only loonies who go for these vehicles, looks like there is loads of technical tips on their site. Having to brush up on my pidgeon English for the translator though. Mark have you sent them an e-mail telling them about this site. See ya, Rob.

Great find! although the translator takes a bit of getting used to!!!

Managed to get to the guest book by opening the page in Russian and running that address thro the translator.
Also found a site that claims to have the Toyota catalogue on CD, a list of all parts and part numbers for the Ace family, I guess it's much the same (or indeed is the same) as Toyota use when you go for parts. I have requested a copy and await the reply. If I can get it and it is of any use I will let you know.
Clive. And yes I do know how to handle Russian payments.

Clive, if it's at autocd.spb.ru, it is the same, and I have a copy. Copies available...
BTW bank charges make it expensive- cd $14, international charges £60...

Good find Mark. A few hours worth of scouring the pages for diagrams in the offing. The translater's a good laugh too. Makes Inspector Clouseau sound intelligible! Like the one about "not my sexual persuasion and fluff on carpets"!

On reflection, not so good. The parts that would be of most use ie. the download, the links don't work, which is a shame. Still, anything that can be found about the Townace is good news.

Most (184) of the diagrams published for download on that site are now within the folders of Ace Answers. Look for items beginning "Oblsud-" in the Bodywork, Fuel, Engine, Transmssion & Suspension folders.
I've only had time to look at a few yet myself. Don't hold your breath while I sort and re-label them.

If anyone is after Specific drawings from the Russian site I have downloaded them all and relabelled them. They only give part numbers to aid ordering parts.
