I have just taken the bing of only to find that when I replaced everything my flashers both cme on at the same time only on the dash and the tens light went out this only happend when the sidelights were switched on . I dismantled it again and this time removed the fixing screws for the bing this solved the problem with the indicaters but I now have a problem with my fuel gauge showing half full all the time I am going to replace one of the screws to see if this solves the prolem I hope to keep everyone posted I thik this could be an earthing prolem

Paul,
It is possible that you have damaged the printed circuit board in removing the two contact screws for the binger, the screws that physically hold the metal part of the binger in place don't serve any purpose, but the two screws that hold the terminals on do, we have already discovered problems with not putting them back in, and also problems caused by damaging the 'tracks' on the plastic printed circuit.
