(Home) Front lights plastic trim

Hi all,
Am trying to get the front clear plastic trim off of a '90 Masterace (piece between headlights with "Toyota") written on it. I'm pretty sure its not bolted/screwed in, but it doesn't want to budge. I think it should pull out, but don't want to lever it too much, as risk of damaging it or even worse the headlight(s).
Anyone got any ideas? Especially Rob.D or Ian.D, as you two seem to know all there is about these vehicles!

Regards, Tony.

on mine they are held on with four short metal "t" shaped "spring" type catches

if you use a torch and look carefully in the slots at the bottom of the trim you can find them. They need to be levered into position with a small screwdriver

it's a very fiddly job!

Mine has three screws in the black bit at the bottom, remove those and then gently lever up enough to get a hold of the sides and pull forward and off it comes.

will try both of your suggestions & let you know if i managed to get mine off!

Thanks again,

Tony.

Sorry, can't come up trumps here, the Masterace has a different front end to my Townace, on a Townie, there are 3 cross head, long neck screws along the bottom of the trim, once these are removed then you pull the whole unit & it comes away from the clips holding the top, but remember that a Townie also has the foglamps built in here, whereas yours are in the bumper, so unless yours is held in a similar way to our I can't help, Regards Rob.
