(Home) Oil leak

hi all i' got a oil just under my gear box where the 2 bolts go in..is the gear-box oil dif'rnt from the engine or is it all in 1....its a space-cruiser c reg...great site....lynn

Separate. Oil for the box is further back. Your leak is from the engine. Haven't you just had this exchanged? I should take it back, they've missed or incorrectly fitted a gasket by the sound of it.

no ian' i just had the {head changed}the oil seems to drip from the bottom of the gear-box i dont know if it is running down from the engine.

Sorry, I thought you meant the join from the gearbox to the engine. I would suggest you wipe it all clean then start her up and see exactly where the leak is coming from. If still not obvious then if bad then you should be able to track it by checking the levels of both and you need to get it fixed. If slight then consider a drip tray for the drive.
