(Home) Brake discs

Could someone please confirm that brake discs ADT 343140C as used on 4x4 townies are the same ones used on a 91 Liteace, as it appears I will require a pair, also, is it an awkward job to replace? Thanks for any info. Neil

I don't think they are. Give your Blue Print stockist the chassis number and model code of your Liteace and if necessary this will be all the information they need to get the right part numbers. Not sure how hard they are to fit, but would definitely suggest changing the brake pads at the same time.
(If having trouble finding a stockist go to the Blue Print website www.blueprint-adl.co.uk and there's a map with names and phone numbers on.)

Fairly big job on a 4x4- they bolt on to the rear of the hub. Hub has to come off first, which means stripping the bearings out. (good opportunity to repack and adjust, though...)

Is your liteace a 4x4? I've just gone through this exercise and as Deb suggests got a result by giving the chasis number and model code to a good motor factor. They came back with lockheed / delphie parts, the cost of this was £133 including pads, the highest quote I'd had was £205.

They were easy to fit, as David points out they are attached to the rear of the hub but this is not a problem as long as you keep the bearings clean and re-pack them with grease.

Once again, thanks for the help! My Liteace is a 4x4 so I will try the suggestions made, especially concerning new brake pads as I think they are suspect anyway! Neil.

might be a silly question but the number you gave ADT 343140 ( disks ) is this right for 4WD i looked everywhere recently for replacements but no luck,, in the end had them skimmed ( £10 ),, did the job.Its really easy just be careful with taking the bearings out
