Great Site!
I have just purchased 2.0 spacecruiser 1985.
It cuts out, as if run out of fuel, or starts holding back/missing.. OK from cold. at lower speeds less aparent. Motorway use a nightmare. Has had new cap,rotor arm, plugs and leads. Has been on tuner carb reset.Any ideas, has anyone had this problem

Steve,
Could well be the fuel filter clogged. It's in a clip on the rear bulkhead alongside the power steering tank, under the big/main fuses. Or a trapped fuel line, lets enough through for low revs (and enough for tuning as the carb has a large chamber) but not high revs under load. The carb has a glass float level window, try revving it up and see if the level goes down.
