(Home) Broken vacuum pipe fitting

I was looking around my air filter for a person in need of help on the phone when I noticed a small hose flapping around. The end still had the fitting in it so I searched for its correct position.
Under the passenger seat to the right beside the air filter is a small switch about one and a half inches long, roughly rectangular in shape with a plunger type button one end. It has a pair of wires connected to it on one side and has two hoses on it, or should have, one going to the fuel pump, the other marked as vaccuum. What is it and could I get another one if the fitting doesn't super glue back on. It is marked with a part number ND 184600-0750 and showing 12v.
Any help welcome.

it's a solenoid valve. idle up to be precise. some have two, one for idle up, one for aircon, both going to the same diaphragm on the pump. the button you refer to is an air filter. if you're going to glue it, don't use sg, use araldite or some similar epoxy. but it mightn't be essential for you... if you decide that you don't need it, ensure that the vacuum line going to it is blocked, in case it affects your brakes.
