Get a new radio!...
Seriously though, these things are usually quite quiet at sensible speeds. An extra layer of sound insulation will help, as will ensuring that all holes between cabin and bay are filled, grommets in place etc. Perhaps check wheel bearings? What tyres do you have- cheap van tyres can be noisy.
Are the front hubs locked? Driving around like that, mine goes through a resonance at about 75, probably a front driveshaft imbalance. Unlock'em for 10 months of the year...
Fan howls a bit, but not intrusively from what I remember.

Gavin

If you end up adding or replacing the sound proofing material yourself. Ensure it is fireproof, can withstand high temperatures and doesn't foul any of the engine parts otherwise things could get a little warm in the seating dept.

Gavin, I'll just go over the obvious, is the engine cover sealing correctly or even has it got a seal, are one or both of the inspection panels behind driver seat in place/sealed correctly? The engines diesel or petrol are not normally that noisy.
