1.Any tips, advice, info, on swapping 2C-T from a 91 MANUAL townie to an 88 Master ace 4WD AUTO---any probs connecting up the drive train??
2. Thermostats---- how about an 82* C vs 3 holes in standard stat?? wouldnt 82 do same job?
3. Fans--- can you check V fan with hair drier or fan heater??
Any s/h suitable electic fans from scapyards (not Astra I gather )
4. Amyone recored rad with bigger surface area core??

1. engines should interchange, but ancilliaries will differ- injection pump and alternator. Plus you'll definitely have to swap the flywheels.

2. stat with holes in flows a bit more at high temps, at the expense of a slightly slower warmup.

3. if you heat the viscous coupling, you'll see the little bimetal spiral at the front adjust. Bur to really test it, you'll need to measure the torque on the fan at different temps. some mention the thread method- a piece of thread will restrain the fan when cold, but break when hot...

4.You'll not get a bigger rad or core in...
And if you've a 4x4 auto, you've got two rads anyway...
