A friend of mine has a Misubushi starwagon, looks very much lie my lite-ace, its a petrol/manual box version, I know the details are a bit vague, its about 88/89 model i believe, would the parts be compatable with my lite-ace
G-reg, E-YM3, 2y engine, 1.9 petrol
from what i remember it looks very similar, he has given up on getting it back on the road, but he can't get a clutch cable for it, to make it worse he doesn't even have the old one for reference, he was only asking a couple of hundred pounds for it as it stands.
If can aquire a clutch cable it would be quite road worthy i think.
Any help?

I would be very surprised if there were any parts that were the same between a Mitsubishi & a Toyota, excepting a few pieces such as Rad Caps or whatever, the Japanese manufacturers tend to use very few 'stock' parts, prefering to use bespoke bits for each vehicle, just take a look at a Townie, not too many parts bin bits there. Can't find any listings to the spec of star wagon you show in your post. If your mate really does want to get rid of it that cheap, then I may be interested in it, depending on condition of course, as I might throw an auto box in it anyway.
