Can anyone help. I have a LHD american spacecruiser import. It's going to need an exhaust soon. The one fitted has a cataltic converter. Can a standard british (non cat) system be fitted as a replacement or are there problems doing this.

What engine, what year of manufacture? Or drive into KwikFit or the like and ask if they can replace it. Standard mild steel no cat Specy exhaust fitted from £180 to £500 (Toyota 3 weeks from Japan). Cheaper to fit yourself if you can get the bus high enough off of the ground for the back box. Which ever way you go make sure the correct gasket joints are fitted else the joint will blow the exhaust filler out very quickly, they are about £1 each from Toyota, standard UK Specy uses 3.
