After spending countless amounts of money on our townace (didnīt know about this site) in order to fix that popular problem overheating/ coolant-loss /headgasket. We are pleased to say that we drove down through France and northern Spain to our new address in Andalucia. Complete with three children, a dog and most of our clothes/tent etc. We get very strange looks from the spanish as the nearest thing to a townie is a nissan vanette, however appears to be coping really well with the heat and dust and of course the endless mountain ranges. The good thing about such a large journey is that you get to know your car very, very well. P.s the guy who was asking about the townie featured in a Pulp video- it belongs to Jarvis!
