(Home) 2c diesel oil leak

Hi
Would anyone be able to advice me on the following oil leak on my trusty old Townace. Thought it was going to be a simple oil leak by the filter but have found it a little more complex than that. Probably the oil pump housing gasket .. if that is what its is and called.
Have put images and description of problem on the following page for you to view

I thank you for your advice as I'm not that familiar with the engine nor can find a manual.

Regards

Les, the leak certainly looks like it's coming from the oil pump rear face. The pump is sealed to the block by an "O"ring (around the perifery of the rotor), and a bead of sealant. The crank pulley has to come off to access the bolts, but you could try that before doing the full stripdown. To remove the pump, the sump has to come off...
The manual RM025 (E) covers the 2C engine, but is no longer in print for the UK at least.

Email me if you need the requisite pages scanned and sent...
