(Home) Join the club, salute other owners

Many years ago when I used to drive an MG, there was a feeling of belonging to a club, and if two owners noticed each other, there was always a flash of lights, toot on the horn or a wave.

Why don’t we do this? I have only had my Townace for a couple of months now but I have seen quite a few others driving around the Bournemouth area, and we just seem to pass un-noticed.

So if you are in the area in your bus, and some other Townie flashes its lights, toots its horn or waves, don’t worry, its only saying HELLO

I agree dave, I live in Nottingham, I reckon there is about a dozen or so around here, you get the odd one who will acknowledge you, these are a relatively rare thing, so if any of you see a gold lite-ace g reg with an ugly guy with a beard driving, give me a wave, I'll always return with like.
