well i suppose this is really good bye i have owned a townie for 10 mths now really a practical fun vehicle
4x4 2ltr turbo diesel auto but decided to sell it and buy myself a lucida
this site really has been helpful as i am a bit of a hayes manuel type of person sorry i could not of contributed a little more but thought i should tell you about a mechanic i found in manchester he did a full service with oil fuel air filters diesel pump stripdown and reseal timing belt plus the three other little belts for £400 also on another visit front and rear brakes and starter motor recon you know when you turn the key and all you get is click click for£250 can get all the parts you need but not body panels
he is a diesel specialist and repairs the lucida range aswell he really is topman

Does anyone know of a knowledgable mechanic in the Manchester area for townaces? If I had the time to do the work on ours myself I would but as I don't, I need some good contacts. At the moment we have a slight oil leak and I need to get it sorted out. Many people we take it to won't touch it either because it has air conditioning, it's a diesel, it's automatic or it's an import! Any suggestions? Thanks
