does anyone have any experience of fitting roofbars to a skylite roof town/lite ace?. Halfords have quoted me £120 for some Thule bars, which on top of the £130 immobilizer i've just had fitted for the insurance is a bit steep. thanks. Stefan.

Stefan, i fitten thule roof bars - they r very good try the roofbox company for a cheaper deal (website listed in ace answers plus a picture of my roofbox

I had a Space Cruiser that had Rover Montego roof bars fitted. Don't know if they will fit a Townie. However if your Townie has a skylight roof it is not possible to fit roof bars because the fixings will foul with the skylight window blinds. hth.

Check out some one the four wheel drive accessory shops. They will have bars that fit to the gutter rails even over the skylite roof.
They will almost certainly be able to advise you on this sort of thing, even if the gutter mount bars are not appropriate - four wheel drives often have alternative solutions!

i am intrested in a roof rack for a townace turbo diesil high cap

if these are the stright silver bars i've seen thier not realy what i'm after. pherhaps if you a picture you can emai this would sort it out ?
