We have a J reg Toyota Townace turbo diesel which is naughty to start, its starts perfectly off of my hubbys car with jump leads so we are sure that our battery is not strong enough to power the starter. We cannot get help at garages as they dont have it listed so we are hoping to get some help here please. We are absolutely delighted with our Townace but I need it to start better for me, many thanks Kelley

Just tell the garage to get a battery for a toyota diesel. Diesel Corollas, Carinas, Townies, etc- the same battery does them all! 90Ah IIRC

90Ah As David has stated should give at least 600Ah for starting. The battery ref (for an Hoppeck battery) is 600-026-060 with type 1 layout. the layout is round pins, with the pins away from you the + should be on the right hand side.

David, what does the IIRC stand for? I've seen you use it often.
